The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja today adjourned all the case to the 30th of August reason been that the defendant of 4th, 5th, 6th 8th, 9th, 11th 12th, and 13th were not present in Court for Hearing to commence.
Recalled, the case had commenced before Justice Emeka Nwite of the same federal High Court and for reason's best known to the legal team of the All progressives Congress (APC), applied for a change of Judge.

The matter which was due to commence before Justice R. A. Mohammed on the 2nd of August could not hold because of the absence of the Judge and was further shifted to 4th August, 2022.
Before Justice Mohammed, the plaintiff had Senior Advocate of Nigeria, S
T. Hon appearing with Paul Harris Ogbole SAN among other senior and junior lawyers.
INEC had Anthony Onyere while F. B. Mnyim appeared with P. O. Echor and others appeared for 2nd, and 7th defendant's.
Senior Advocate of Nigeria S. I. Ameh appeared with his learned brother Iorsule SAN for Reverend Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia, PhD who is the third defendant in the suit while K. C. Ikonne appeared for Prof. Terhemba Shija who is the 15th defendant in the case.

Barrister Daniel Penda's appearance was for 10th defendant which is Hembe Iorwase Herman the Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party in Benue State while Adetunji Oso's appearance was for the 14 defendant.

At the end of the roll call, S.T. Hon called the attention of the court to the fact that the case is coming before His Lordship, Justice Mohammed for the first time and he suggested that the Court should adjourn to allow counsels to the suit file their processes, serve and for parties to respond on time and at the next adjourned date, the court will take applications and hearing may commence as well.
Having no objections raised against the suggestion of the learned silk, Justice R. A. Mohammed adjourned the case to 30th of August, 2022 for hearing and for hearing notice to be served on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th 11th, 12th and 13th defendants.
Similarly, the case of Michael Aondokaa, SAN against the All Progressives Congress (APC), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Reverend Father Alia came up for mentioning today before Justice Mohammed.
Senior Advocate of Nigeria C. I. Okpoko, SAN, Matthew Onoja appeared for the plaintiff, Chief Michael Aondokaa SAN, while Matthew Burkaa, SAN appeared with F. B. Mnyim, Y. E. Gangana among others appeared for first defendant the All Progressives Congress (APC).
S. I. Ameh, SAN, John Itodo with others appeared for Reverend Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia who is the third defandant in the matter.
C. I. Okpoko told the court that the case is coming before His Lordship for the first time for mentioning and everything that has to be filed has been filed and exchanged and ask for another date for commencement of hearing.
Justice Mohammed adjuorned the Case to 1st of September, 2023 by 12noon for hearing.
In another related development, the Case instituted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against All progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidates including the senatorial aspirants came up today for mentioning before Justice Mohammed.
At the end of the roll call, only Chief Titus T. Zam who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) party's candidate for Benue North West senatorial district in the next year's general elections was in Court while the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th were all absent and where not represented in Court.
Again, S. T. Hon, SAN put forward a similar suggestion like the earliest one that the Court should adjourned for another date for hearing to commence and Justice R. A. Mohammed adjourned the matter to 6th of September, 2022 for hearing.
