Controversial Nigerian female lawyer, Ifunanya Delilah Grant has been reportedly suspended from practicing in Nigeria at the moment, evadoosh.com gathered.

According to reports, the young lawyer who made headline posting in sexy outfit after she was called to Bar on the 28th of July, 2021, has been suspended by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) over misconduct and several offences.

Ms Delilah as she fondly calls herself, gained publicity not as a good lawyer but as a result of posting images of herself in skimpy and revealing gown along with other nearly nak£d pictures while smoking marijuana.

Going through her social media accounts , you'd discover she's unapologetic about her lifestyle.

Immediately news broke about her suspension, some of her fans questioned her purported suspension by the body of benchers, many have also dubbed her a model who showcases her art differently and should be given freedom of expression.

Miss Ifunanya Excel Grant Esq while reacting to the news of her suspension through BarristerNG, denied making the “Gangster and Stoner” post and blamed online scammers who stole her pictures to create a “catfish account” to Scam people.

According to her, she is not on any social media platform and didn’t make the Viral Facebook post.

“I AM NOT A GANGSTER or a stoner or anything of such”, the statement reads.

Miss Grant stated that she is an Instagram Model and not a practicing Lawyer at the moment.

She explained that her pictures with cigars was part of her current work as Instagram Model and Actress and the pictures are for modeling and acting purposes only.

Even though she issued a disclaimer about everything being accused of, in one of her pictures on her page, she addressed herself as an “Emotional Gangster”.

Her message reads;

"My name is Ifunanya Excel Grant. I came across the article written about me on the barristerng.com website and I will like to make an official .

First and foremost the Facebook account where the displayed pictures were gotten from, is not run by me. That account is a catfish account.

I am an Instagram model and a lot of scammers steal pictures from my page and create fake accounts pretending to be me just to scam people.

I am not on Facebook or any other social media app. The statement “I Made it! I’m forever proud of myself! A BARRISTER & a STONER, sometimes a gangster. Celebrate with Me” was not written by me.

I AM NOT A GANGSTER or a stoner or anything of such. I was called to bar on the 28th of July, 2021. That was over a year ago.

The pictures of me smoking my Cuban cigar (which is the only thing I smoke) was not a picture to celebrate my call to bar. I am an actress and a model.

I do not practice law at the moment and those pictures are for modeling and acting purposes only.

I will not like anything to taint my career or tarnish my image.

Scrolling down her IG page,pictures posted on December 2021, at the Supreme Court of Nigeria Premises, She addressed herself as the “Baddest Lawyer on Planet Earth”, contrary to her claim of not being in active legal practice.
