BBNaija All Stars winner, Ilebaye dragged for giving up account number to accept fan donations

 

 Big Brother Naija All stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya  has  been  trolled  on social media for sharing  her  account number on her verified  Twitter account so that fans can donate  for   her  gift.  

 According to her, she  received  information that fans  were  contributing to other accounts and  may be being  scammed.  

Her statement however has spark conversation online with people calling her insensitiv.  Twitter  users  expressed  disappointment  at her insensitivity when  she won  120  million  just  24 hours ago. 

  

Miss Baye wrote;  

  We have  received  reports of  fans  intending  to send gifts or  donations.  Please  do not send  money to  an  account that  is not  officially posted on  Ilebaye Verified Accounts. To receive your gift,  please send an email. The only  account  accessible  is the Baye Tribe account (9608176782  – Provideus).  We  will not  be responsible for any misappropriation of funds. Thank you 🙏🏾". - Ilebaye wrote. 

 Dr. Zerubabe responded to Baye's tweet, writing:  

 

  “This  is simply  the terrible  behavior  of people of  low value  who have  nothing to offer  to  the  social  order  but decadence…  People  who supposedly pay 300,000 a week  for  entertainment along with  other packages  that require  contributions from their  fans."

  Add  “BB  naija fans  send  gifts or  donations  to a 22 year old  who  just won  120 million”  to the list of  deceptions  that  have occurred  this  year.”

 Ilebaye in response to her own tweet:  

 

  “This tweet is only intended  to  prevent  people who  want  to  give gifts from  falling into the hands of scammers. 

  We  don't raise  funds, we  just mark accounts  we have access to. 

  There are too  many fake account numbers  in circulation  and we  cannot  be  responsible  for any  misappropriation."
