The Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC) has dismissed claims by the Labor Party and its candidate Peter Obi that the 2023 presidential election, was rigged in favor of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Judge Abba Mohammed's ruling said Obi and Labor failed to provide credible evidence that the election was rigged and failed to substantiate their claims.
The court found that Obi and LP claimed election fraud was conducted at 18,088 polling stations nationwide, but could not provide specific details about where the alleged fraud took place.
The group said various parts of the petition, including the allegations, were "vague, inaccurate, vague and lack concrete material."
