A university student, Blessing Karami, reported missing on September 11, has been found dead on Wednesday, according to a report published by THE WHISTLER.
The deceased a student at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), was reported missing after leaving her workplace in Garki, Abuja.
Genesis Moses Karami, brother of the deceased who moved from Kaduna to Abuja to lead the search, said her decomposing body was found in the bush in Karmo district of the Federal Capital Territory.
The police have since arrested a certain AMINU, the boyfriend of the deceased, who is being questioned about her disappearance.
The 26-year-old girl disappeared after leaving work early with her office key, which is normal. Karami, whose deceased brother was present at the police station to explain to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), said that on Tuesday night, while leaving the police station, he received a strange call with detailed information about his sister's body, but this turned out to be wrong.
“The caller said he saw a woman's body in Idu, so we asked him to describe what she was wearing and he told us exactly what we were told my sister was wearing in office on the day she went missing,” the brother explained to the police.
According to Karami, after unsuccessfully trying to contact the DPO, he had to go to Karmo police station, but when he got there with a group of policemen, the caller continued to play with them while he kept changing many places until they got tired and left.
Despite previous false calls, Karami confirmed that his sister was indeed dead.
“We saw his decomposing body in the bushes in Karmo,” he added!
God rest her soul.
