Hon Herman Iorwase Hembe who was governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress ,APC, has been made the flagbearer of the Labor party weeks after losing the APC primaries to Rev. Fr Hyacinth Iornem Alia. 

Mr Hembe, who represents the people of Konshisha/Vandeikya Federal Constituency, was few minutes ago announced the winner of the Labour Party Gubernatorial primary elections held in Makurdi,the Benue State Capital.

Hembe, garnered 99.9%(103) out of the 109 total votes that were cast defeating Engr. Akaaka who got only 4 votes. 

While addressing newsmen today in makurdi shortly after his declaration, he said his dream to make Benue State Greater was Achievable.

The 47-year-old who is a three time House of Representative member is not a stranger to defecting to other political party as he has won election under 3 different political parties so far, from PDP to APC, then APGA and now Labour party.
