7 suspected internet fraudsters arrested in Makurdi, Benue state (PHOTO)

In Benue,  the Operatives of the financial Crimes Commission( EFCC), Makurdi zonal command,  arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters.

 This was bared in a post shared on the EFCC’s X handle, on Thursday, February 29, 2024. The anti-graft agency noted that the suspects would be charged in court as soon as examinations are completed. It reads" The Makurdi Zonal Command of the financial Crimes Commission( EFCC) on Thursday, February 29, 2024, arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters." They were arrested in their den in Aliade in the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State." Some of the items recovered from them include eight phones, three iPads, two internet routers and one international passport." The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded."
