Governor Uba Sani's application to the Governor's Election Petitions Tribunal in Kaduna has been dismissed, the report said.
Furthermore, the election tribunal declared the election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate as governor of the state as inconclusive.
It may be recalled that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Rt. Hon. Isah Mohammed Ashiru has challenged Senator Sani's claim and urged the court to declare him the winner of the election.
As a result, the three-man panel headed by Justice Victor Oviawe ordered a rerun of the election in 24 polling stations spread across seven wards of four local governments comprising 16,300 registered voters.
Mr. Sani Uba was not dismissed as governor as some media agencies reported.
