Tinubu withdraws nomination of Maryam Shetty as a ministerial nominee, send additional names For confirmation

The Nigeria's President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu  today communicated to the Senate that he  was  withdrawing the nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano and  replacing her with Mairiga Mahmud. 

No  reasons  were given to why the president withdrew her nomination.

Maryam Reacting to the  news on twitter she wrote;

"Just In. 

I  was  just  informed now at  today’s plenary  session that President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has withdraw my ministerial nomination and  replaced her with Dr Mairiga Mahmud.

I’m  grateful and  thankful for any  decision from you My President!" 

Tinubu  also  added the  name of former minister, Festus Keyamo as a  ministerial nominee.
