Deputy Gov. Dr Sam Ode visit the family of Late Justice Margaret Igbetar

 

BENUE  State  Deputy  Governor Dr.  Sam Ode  paid a courtesy visit to the family of  Retired Judge,  Margret  Igbetar,  who was murdered at  his  home in  Makurdi, the capital of  Benue  State.  

  Ms.  Igbetar, a former  appellate  court  judge,  was killed in her  home,  which we reported HERE . 

  

The deputy governor who  visited  their home  shared with him  photos of the visit he wrote; 

 

  “Yesterday,  I  visited with  the family of the  murdered  jurist,  the  late  Judge  Margaret Igbetar, a retired judge and former  Chief Justice  of the Benue  Court of  Appeals.  

 

  His  body was discovered  Thursday at  his  private residence in Makurdi,  the capital of  Benue  state. Law  enforcement has been  tasked with finding  the perpetrators of this heinous crime and  subjecting  them  to  the full  punishment  of the  law."
