The All Progressive Congress (APC) lawmaker representing the people of Gbemacha ward of Gboko Local government Hon. Aondona Dajoh has been sworn in as BENUE state speaker having defeated his opponent, Hon. Becky Orpin.
Mr Dajo , polled a total of 17 votes defeating his close opponent Mrs Becky Orpin with who scored 15 . A difference of two votes.
The speaker took the oath of office shortly after he emerged Speaker of the 10th Assembly.
