DSS "arrest" Godwin Emefiele over this 10 Allegations


Godwin Emefiele will be arrested by the Nigeria's Secret Service Police the moment he arrives Nigeria from United state. 

Recalled that President Bola Tinubu earlier today announced his suspension as CBN Governor.

Mr Emefiele's arrest will happen inspite of a court in Abuja baring the DSS request to interrogate him following numerous allegations, the secret service department says. 

The report says, Mr Emefiele  will be picked upon his arrival Into the country over the allegations of Fraud, Terrorism, others.

According to Sahara Reporters, the State Security Service (SSS) has accused the CBN governor of being involved in the financing of terrorism. 

It said preliminary investigation revealed various acts of terrorism financing, fraudulent activities perpetrated by Emefiele and his involvement in economic crimes of national security dimension.

However, sources in the DSS alleged that they are aware that Emefiele deliberately decided to delay his return to Nigeria. They, however, noted that the secret police would arrest the apex bank governor regardless of his antics and the recent court ruling. 

"Emefiele has so far refused to return to Nigeria. But the position of the DSS has not changed.

"He will be arrested upon his arrival in Nigeria because what our preliminary investigation reveals against him are very serious and cannot be taken lightly," one of the sources said. 

That been said, here are details of DSS ten allegations against the suspended CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.  The DSS alleged that he Godwin Emefiele was

1. Funding Unknown gunmen, ESN and IPOB with money he raised for his failed presidential bid last year and funds diverted from government coffers

2. Mismanagement of Nigeria's social investment program (NISRAL and the Anchor Borrowers Scheme)

3. Illegall economic crimes of National security dimension

4. Money Laundering

5. Unwholesome activities through proxies

6. Round tripping
