BREAKING!! Benue Serial Killer, Iorwuese Kpila Sentenced To Death

 Iorwuese Ikpila alias Dr Kwagh Akorum Menenge , a benue serial killer has been sentenced to death by hanging for the k!lling of 16 persons in Ushongo Local Government Area of BENUE state.

It could be recalled Iorwuese Kwagh also referred to as Iorwuese Kpila was arrested on the 21st of September, 2019 after the police discovered graves of victims buried in the local government.

The 30-year-old during his confessional statement four years ago admitted he had killed all his 16 victims for spiritual powers, money and was about making it twenty (20) victims before he was caught.

He took police to a mass grave and cassava farm where his 16 victims were buried.

Kpila disclosed all this when he was paraded alongside his six gang members before news men by state Commissioner of Police Mukaddas Garba.

Below is his confession four years ago;

“We will tell Okada riders to drop us at a certain location and immediately we reach there I and my gang members will grabbed the victim and strangulate him with a rope, dig a grave, bury them and plant cassava on top of the grave, thereafter we sell the machine to a buyer”.

The kingpin, Iorwuese Ikpila alias Dr Kwagh-a-korum
menenge (meaning “let something catch me, let me see”) claimed his aspiration to acquire more power and wealth than his late native doctor father, was what drove him and his gang into killing spree in order to get blood as requested by a certain spirit, whom he referred to as “the queen.”

Benue State Commissioner of Police, Garba Mukaddas while briefing newsmen stated:

“The gang kidnapped 16 persons, robbed them of their vehicles, motorcycles and other belongings, then killed them, buried their corpses and planted cassava on the graves as a way of covering up the crime.”

The suspects, according to Police Commissioner Mukaddas, also confessed that they had begun operation as a robbery gang within Ukum, Kwande, Kastina-Ala and Ushongo local government areas of the state, but had to resort to kidnapping as a result of the tight deployment of security operatives on the highways in the state.

The police boss further confirmed that 11 corpses of the victims were exhumed and identified by their family members.

 Kpila,who claimed to have operated in Ushongo for three months, was exposed for lying as the bodies exhumed seems to have been buried for more than a year.

An emotionless Ikpila who did not appear remorseful about his actions said;

“Nothing pass God. I have confessed when I was arrested before; I took them to where I buried them. I regret my actions."
