Killer of  Erekaa Naomi Dooshima has been arrested barely a week after she was killed.

The 300Level student from the Mass Communication department of the BENUE state university was found dead close to her house with her head smashed.

According to a social media user, Chaddo Castro, he claimed Naomi was allegedly killed by her house caretaker who was owning her money and not hookup as it was speculated.

He wrote;

"The killer identified simply as Mr Shagba has just confessed to the crime.

"This young lady was killed by her caretaker it has been confirmed

The Care taker is by name MR shagba, a 400 level English student Benue state university.
According to his confession he said she gave him 150k for house and asked for a refund ,she kept on disturbing till he made out a way and killed her.

However, the Police in Benue State has arrested the estate agent for allegedly killing a 300-level student of Benue State University Makurdi. 

The suspect, Shagbaor Ugosor Japhet was apprehended after he reportedly received N150,000 from Erekaa Dooshimaa, to find her an apartment. 

Erekaa went missing for about two days before her body was found with blood stains around Brewery Quarters on February 22. 

Police Detectives traced her killers after going through her bank account where she transferred N150,000 through a POS machine to the suspect. 

The suspect while confessing said he used the money to stake a bet. He added that he later called the lady and hacked her to death 

“When she arrived at the dark corner of the street where I called her to come, I cut her with a machete several times leading to her death. I took her body with her iPhone and dumped her body on the street to make it look like someone else killed her.”
