Ifeanyi: Latest Update From Davido's Home Over Son's Drowning Saga

Earlier today , we reported on the possible drowning of Ifeanyi Adeleke,the son of Nigerian singer, Davido at his home.

inspite of reputable news outlets reporting that he passed, several sources were claiming the toddler was still alive though in an intensive care.

Well, it's has been confirmed that Ifeanyi's nanny, eight others have been arrested following his demise.

The report states that at least nine persons, including Ifeanyi’s nanny and cook, have been arrested by the police in Lagos State in connection with his death.

Ifeanyi, the three years old son of singer Davido drowned on Monday, October 31, 2022, inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos.

It was gathered that both Davido and chef Chioma were on a trip, when the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to a source, “About nine people have been arrested for negligence, including his nanny and their cook.

They are both at his dad’s house in Lekki and nobody from 30BG is allowed there. His 30th birthday plans have been put on hold.

The family is questioning how a three year old kid was able to open a huge thick door and got outside without anbody knowing. The arrested people are criminally negligent.”

In another development a doctor on twitter wrote;

"This is the most difficult thing I’ve written this year.
Davido and Chioma travelled for a family gathering in Ibadan.

He wandered off to the pool where he drowned and remained inside water for a long time before his absence in the house was even noticed.

He was rushed to Evercare/Lagoon hospital where he was pronounced BID (Brought in Dead).

What baffles me the most is how the domestic staff are so quick and bold to leak this information without waiting for his parents to do it first but couldn’t carry out the simple job of protecting that young blossoming flower, a job they are heavily paid way beyond minimum wage for.

Some domestic staff can act as a tool for the enemies.
I hope they are all arrested and meted a befitting punishment".

At the time of making this update, there's still no official statement from Davido or Chioma at the time of posting this report.
