How Gospel Singer, Sammie Okposo Died!

Nigeria's gospel singer, Sammie Okposo is dead.

The Weluwelu croner died in the early hours of today , 25th November 2023 at the age of 51. 

At the time of releasing this report, the cause of his death was yet been disclosed. However, media house like Sahara reporters have revealed that he collapsed and died at his home.

Shortly after the news broke, his Family Released an Official Statement confirming his death.

The statement, which was signed by a member of the family, Hector Okposo, was released on Friday and it reads;

 “It is with a heavy heard but with total submission to God that I announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Minister of God, Sammie Okposo. Sammie slept and went to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday,

November 25, 2022. More details about the burial will be communicated soon.

“We are consoled because we know that he is with Jesus singing with angels. We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time."

A look at his social media page showed the late singer made a post just 22 hours ago.
