Gov. Charles Soludo reacts to the Assault of Prophet Odumeje By Security Operatives In Anambra [VIDEO]

Anambra state governor, Charles Soludo has reacted to the brutal assault of controversial pastor in charge of the Holy Ghost Intervention Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere (Prophet Odumeje).

This comes hours after a video was shared online where some security operatives were seen physically brutalizing Prohet Odumeje aka Indagboski while he was trying to prevent his church from getting demolished in Onitsha by the State Government.

The church demolition, it was learnt is in line with the Onitsha urban renewal plan spearheaded by Governor Charles Soludo.

The structure was erected along the Nwagene stream and had to be removed.

Soludo, in his Facebook post condemned the Assault On Popular Cleric, Odumeje.

Governor Charles Soludo has condemned the attack on Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere aka Odumeje, on Thursday by state officials carrying out the demolition of his church building. 

In a Facebook post on Friday, Soludo said the attack on Odumeje was regrettable.

"Yesterday's outing has evoked emotions, not against the decision of the government, but the imperfect and unprofessional manner with which one of the task force members discharged his lawful duty.

"This is highly regretted, and would never happen again. I have instructed that the task force personnel involved in the manhandling of Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere (Odumeje) be treated in accordance with the rules of public conduct which he roundly failed to uphold."
