Maureen Agbo, has reacted to allegations that she went to Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia's house to Urinate at his door

Maureen Teryila Agbo, has reacted to allegations that she went to Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia's house and peed at his doorsteps in broadday light.

Recall EvaDoosh blog,earlier posted it here with a source giving us details on the event but it turned out , Mrs Agbo was been missunderstood, according to her.

She also called out sacked BENUE state university lecturer, Mkor Aondona for defamatory post against her character. This is because he started the rumors. 

Scrolling through Mkor's Facebook page,we saw the post which read;

"A Lady Called Maureen Agbo Went To Rev. Fr. Alia’s House And Urinated,In fact Almost Defecated In The Open On The Door Step Of Rev. Fr. Alia’s Room. My Question Is Who Sent This Lady On Such A Filthy Mission??".

Well, Maureen has responded. She wrote;

"I, Maureen Teryila Agbo  has read with disappointing feeling some malicious and defaming publications making the rounds in the media space by Aondona Mkor and circulated severally by his cotravellers about me urinating at the door steps in the house of the  APC standard bearer and Benue State Governorship hopeful, Rev. Fr. Alia.

"For those who are genuinely concerned about this development, the gist of the matter is this;

Let me firstly admit that, Fr. Alia is a brother to me as we are both from same lineage, I got to know him closely through my  late friend his younger brother couch who was a josjte with me.

"Because of my interest in the Alia's project, I was determined to reconcile him with the rest of the warring sons of Kunav who were unhappy with the outcome of the primaries which saw to his emergence, especially those who I felt I could talk to.

"So I called Father on Monday 30th of May, 2022, at about 6:30pm and sought to visit.

He then requested me to come over to his Campaign office, but I insisted  the discussion done in a more private location, he then said we should meet at his residence in GRA, Makurdi.

"I requested Bishop Cheren, Hon. Shade Tondu and Agba Joseph, my cousin to accompany me to Fr. Alia's house.

"When we got to the house, we were told he had gone out, so we picked chairs within the compound and sat waiting for his return.

"At about 8pm, I was pressed and went behind the house to pass out urine because at the other end of the building, their were supporters dancing so I hid at the back were I would not be seen.

"When I got up, I was angrily approached by one of the youth, querraling while I urinated where I did, I was confused but I told him I was so pressed and because am a woman, I could not just have done that in the open, so I decided to go behind the house.

"While we were still talking, more of the boys came talking very loudly, shouting and issuing threats to me, So I was asked by Bishop Cheren and those who had accompanied me to his house to leave else I might be harmed.

"I told them I was not leaving since I was waiting on the return of Fr. Alia, and that I had his approval to be in his house. we waited for his return until between 11pm and 12 midnight before we left the compound because he had not returned.

"I would ordinarily have ignored the hog wash been paraded, but I consider it defaming in nature and intent.

It also offends my morality and training giving my background as a lawyer.

while I consul my family, colleagues and friends over my next line of action, I wish to make it categorical that I will be seeking legal redress.
