Rev. Fr Hyacinth Iornem Alia has just won the Re-run of the All Progressive Congress Governorship Primary Election which was held in some local government area in Benue State on 9th June 2022.
The decision of the rerun was ordered by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party after some aggrieved Guber aspirants kicked against the initial results of the direct Primaries.
As instructed by the party, the election was held in the following affected LGAs:
1. Kwande
2. Ushongo
3. Buruku (some parts only)
4. Konshisha
5. Ogbadibo
6. Agatu
7. Ohimini
8. Ado
9. Oju
10. Okpokwu
11. Obi
12. Apa
According to Evadoosh reporters, the turn out of the APC Card Carrying members was enmass and voted again.
