How South African Lady,Singwa Namhla Mtwa Was Murdered By Her Lover

Social Media users have called for the prosecution of Major Mfesane Bekezulu following the allegations that he sh0t to death his girlfriend, Singwa Namhla Mtwa for dumping him after over fifteen years of their relationship. The accused is said to have shot her at close range execution style 9 times killing her on the spot. It happened on 21st of April, 2022.

Before the shooting incidence, the late Singwa,was said to have been in an abusive relationship with Bekezulu who is alleged to be a married man but decided to part ways with him inspite of his threats that he was going to murder her once she tries it. This was revealed by her sister,Sanganozintaba who found out via her phone that she had been receiving death threats from her estranged lover.

Taking to social media raised the alarm she wrote;

I am asister to the late Singwa Namhla Mtwa who was shot 9 times on the 21st of April 2022 in the driveway of her home, adress 24 Mtavuna road sdwadwa view Mthatha, by a man around 7pm and she was pronounced dead on the scene".

Immediately after she made the post, twitter users began trending #JusticeForNamhla.

Namhla has been no stranger to pain for the longest of time 💔 my heart will know no rest after what I've witnessed today of what we have become as men! 😭

He doesn't deserve to be called a human being, he doesn't even belong in jail. He's only place is a bottomless pit. But maybe her soul is at peace, from the pain she has endured for a very long time I believe she's at a better place. May her soul rest in peace 🕊️

The day after the incident happened the police came and a statement was written, this was on the 22nd of April 2022. As a matter of fact there has been no arrests & no one was questioned #JusticeForNamhla

Namhla was in a very abusive relationship with her long term boyfriend, Major Mfesane Bekezulu (pictured) who is a well connected business man.

He was allegedly once implicated in a case of pre meditated murder in 2018.

They were in a relationship of more than 10years that has been abusive& the guy didn't want to be dumped, he's a connected with uMthatha Police so there wasn't much a lady could do other than continuing to endure the beatings, belittling & degrading by him

Meanwhile, someone is alleging that Singwa's sister who raised alarm of the case is been threatened to remove all evidences. They wrote;

"Can someone check on the safety of Singwa Namhla Mtwa’s Sister, Sanga Nozintaba, There are rumors that Major Mthatha Tent threatened her to remove all screenshots on social media and South Africa Police Service refused to helped".
