Catholic Diocese Officially Speaks On Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia's Governorship Ambition

The Catholic diocese of Gboko has officially issued a press statement in regards of the Governorship ambition of Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia ahead of the All Progressive Congress primary. The press release reads;

PUBLIC ATTENTION

OFFICIAL PERMISSION OF VERY REV. FR. DR HYACINTH ALIA TO CONTEST FOR GOVERNORSHIP OF BENUE STATE BY THE CATHOLIC GBOKO DIOCESE VIA “ LETTER OF SUSPENSION “

Members of the public and the good people of Benue State are to be joyfully and graciously informed that the Catholic Diocese of Gboko has officially permitted the leading Benue APC governorship Aspirant,Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iornem Alia to contest for the 2023 governorship of Benue State,through a “letter of suspension” of his pastoral activities. 

In line with the above and to allow Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia and the Benue masses to concentrate on their onerous political responsibilities of campaigns and electioneering processes towards the victory Fr. Alia as the next democratically elected Governor of Benue State,we welcome the timely “letter of suspension” of pastoral activities to Very. Fr. Hyacinth Iornem Alia, our Governor in the waiting!!

The good people of Benue State and the masses of the state are hereby urged to rejig their tenacious commitment to the ALIALIZATION of Benue State and the liberation of her people come 2023.
