Caster Semenya files case against world's sport body over her "ban"

Would South Africa's female athlete, Caster Semenya finally get justice at last?

There's an ongoing debate on internet concerning transwomen in sports which points out how some of the athletes were treated unfairly , suggesting racist undertone and Caster Semenya's is the topic of conversation.

Incase you missed out on the background of her story. Caster,31, a South African gold Olympic medalist was banned from participating in sports following her rejection to take testosterone medications to suppress testosterone.
According to Wikipedia, the 31year old, is an intersex woman assigned female gender from birth with XY chromosomes and naturally elevated testosterone level caused by the presence of internal testes. Following her win at the 2009 World Championships, she was made to undergo s£x testing to return the next year which never happened after a new rule was enacted.

Prior to her return,a new World Athletic rules came out in 2019 baring women like Caster Semenya from participating in the 400m,800m and 1500m race except they take a testosterone suppression drugs which Semanya outrightly rejected leading to her been banned.
However, a transwomen by name Lia Thomas, who is current world swimming champion has not been given same treated which has made fans of sports question why Lia's case is different since she was naturally born a Male but had her s£x change at age 21 unlike Caster who was naturally born a woman.
Lia Thomas

Lia, presently hold world's record at number 1 & best swimmer on Earth in the women's division even though he previously ranked 280th in the men's tournament.

Inspite of Caster's ban, it's been alleged that, some women athletes from Russian, Netherlands born ther same way as Caster, have been participating in the Olympics without been asked to take hormone suppressant medication.

That been said, a fresh report suggests that Caster Semenya in 2021 , filed a case with the European Courts of Human Rights seeking justice.
