Hollywood actress/reality TV star Jada Pinkett Smith isn't slowing down anytime soon, even though social media users have been teasing her about a recent interview in which she said Chris Rock once asked her out before the Oscar slapping incident.
Pinkett, who has a book to promote, has always insisted that the love of her life is still the late Tupac, despite being married to Will Smith for 19 years and having two adorable children. In her recent outing she told the interviewer: I believe the late rapper Tupac Shakur is my soul mate. But we never connected due to lack of chemistry, the Daily Mail reported on Friday.
The 52-year-old expressed this while promoting her upcoming memoir in an interview with RollingOut.
She also revealed that she has been secretly separated from her husband, Will Smith, 55, for seven years.
When asked about their 19-year marriage and the 2022 Oscars that prompted Will Smith to slap Chris, Jada said she was "shocked" and that Will Smith called me "wife."
"First of all, let me say, I'm really shocked because I'm not there. We haven't called each other husband and wife for a long time... I was like, 'What's going on? ?You don’t mention your wife’s name?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t do that, so I’m really worried about Will.’ I don’t know what’s going on. ”
When asked why she did not take Tupac seriously, and she reveals that he actually proposed to her while in prison.
Jada said Tupac Shakur proposed to her while in prison in 1995, but she rejected him because she thought he would divorce her once he was released.
She further suggested that the two had "traveled" to a past life together, saying, "If there is a past life, I definitely think that Pac and I have traveled together in a few lives, you know, in many different forms."
When asked if she regretted deciding not to take this friendship in a romantic direction, Smith replied, "It's impossible. There is no chemistry between us."
Remember, Tupac was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996 when he was just 25 years old. However, his killer was never known until recently when the LAPD announced that they had arrested a man named Duane Keith Davis, aka Keffe D. the mastermind behind his death.
